For those with aspirations to further their creative communications career and skills within the sports industry, 2018 has already offered a top class opportunity courtesy of Red Bull Racing.
We’ve noticed that the post of Social Media Coordinator has very recently been advertised, working in close proximity to Digital Manager Steve Garland from their Milton Keynes base.
Put simply and from first hand experience of Steve and the digital bar Red Bull Racing have set, this really is one of the best #smsports gigs out there. If I were [cough] years younger and within the first few stages of my social media career I’d apply today myself. No joke.
We’ve covered Red Bull Racing for their often unrivalled digital, social and storytelling output over the last few years, for good reason. Whoever gets the job will be joining the one of the very best social media teams out there.
I’d post multiple examples of their excellent work right here, but to be honest, if you’re good enough for the role you should (1) already know and love what they do and (2) be able to find them yourself before rapidly sending your CV for consideration.
Of interest, Red Bull Racing are also recruiting a Press Officer in readiness for the 2018 season, which will be here before we know it. World travel and sports PR comms with two of the best drivers? What else do you need?
Good luck one and all. What a way to kick off 2018.
